Every score on Top Psychic Reviews is earned, not bought. We don’t accept payment for placement, and no platform can pay to raise its ranking. Here is exactly how our review desk works, what each score measures, and how we keep our rankings honest.
Our four-step process
1. Research
We track every major psychic reading platform and advisor network — more than 40 at last count. For each one we record pricing, reading methods, screening standards, refund and satisfaction policies, and the size and quality of its reader roster.
2. Test
We pay for real readings with our own money — across love, career, and spiritual questions — using anonymous accounts so we’re treated like any other customer. If we can’t complete a paid reading (region blocked, account restricted), the platform is marked Unable to Verify and excluded from ranking rather than guessed at.
3. Score
We combine our first-hand test results with thousands of verified customer reviews into a single composite score out of 5. Each score is weighted across five factors, described below.
4. Publish
Rankings are refreshed monthly. When a platform changes its pricing, policies, or reader quality, its score moves — and we note what changed so you can see the reasoning.
What each score measures
- Reading accuracy (30%) — how insightful, specific, and consistent our test readings were.
- Value for money (25%) — per-minute rates, intro offers, and whether a session felt worth the cost.
- Reader quality & screening (20%) — how carefully the platform vets advisors before listing them.
- Trust & policies (15%) — satisfaction guarantees, refunds, transparency, and data privacy.
- Experience (10%) — ease of booking, app quality, and customer support.
How we stay independent
Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up through them — at no extra cost to you. This never affects a platform’s score or ranking. A site we earn nothing from can still finish first, and a partner can still finish last. Our revenue comes from editorial content, not from the platforms we review.
Found something wrong?
Our rankings are only as good as the data behind them. If a platform’s pricing or policy has changed, or you believe a score is out of date, let us know and we’ll re-test.
